Yet behind her athletic achievements, she struggled with body image and the constant pressure to look a certain way. She was often teased about her weight, and like many young women, her relationship with food became complicated.

In time, Amie learned how to nourish her body in a way that supported both her performance and her well-being. She discovered that strength and confidence come not from restriction, but from understanding and balance. That transformation not only changed her body — it changed her life.

After earning her degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University, she became a Certified Personal Trainer and Strength Coach through the NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association). She also holds a Life Coach Certification and a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction certification, and continues advanced education in women’s health, metabolism, and hormonal changes in midlife and beyond.

As a nutrition coach, life coach, and personal trainer, Amie discovered that true transformation requires more than workouts and meal plans—it requires understanding the whole person. Over more than two decades, she has refined her approach by integrating movement, nutrition, mindset, and recovery practices that work in the real world.

Amie launched her own business in 2001, and today she is evolving that foundation with the full depth of her expertise, experience, and personal insight.
